The Dan I Cook Agents Are Ready To Mobilize Again for The Best Signature Martini in Coral Springs!

How Will I Find The Top Three?

I have stated this numerous times….I don’t believe in polls. They are popularity contests.

My nomination style will be different because if you are going to nominate a place I want to know why it’s great…not good but great. You can nominate restaurants on my blog, Facebook Page, Taste of Coral Springs Facebook Page, and Coral Springs Foodie Facebook Page.

Once I have the nominees I will present them to my agents and the list will be narrowed down to three joints. I will have final say and approval on the top three. After that, my Food Agents will have 3 weeks to hit all 3 places and sample the Martinis. No freebies…they are paying for their own drinks.

Voting will run for 1 week and it starts now!

About Martinis

As defined by Wikipedia, the martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth, and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist. Over the years, the martini has become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic beverages. H. L. Mencken called the martini “the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet” and E. B. White called it “the elixir of quietude”.

Obviously the birth of the Martini and how it’s made now has changed with the times. You have so many options and that’s why we are looking for who has the Best Signature Martini not just a plain old gin one.

As for me I’m not a liquor drinker, I’m a beer drinker. It’s not to say that I haven’t had a Martini before because I’ve had a bunch. LOL. It’s just not my drink of choice. The best one I’ve ever had was in New Orleans at Emeril’s place called Delmonicos. It was made with spicy vodka/vermouth called a Cajun Martini. This bad boy had spicy pickles, string beans, and olives. It was delicious.

Selection and Grading Process

The grading for the judges will be simple and will be done by points. 1 being the lowest with 5 being the highest. 1-5 points for presentation. 1-5 points for bang for your buck. Was it worth the price? Lastly, 1-5 points for overall taste.

15 points is the highest score. If all three places receive 15 points the agent will pick their favorite and explain why.

Let’s see folks, who has the Best Signature Martini in Coral Springs, Fl?
