REVIEW of Dining With Dan I Cook at Gabose Pocha on Thursday, October 13 2016 at 5:30pm.

One word….WOW! Crazy good culinary tour of the street foods of Korea. There is no doubt in my mind that Gabose Pocha is going to be THE next hip place to be in Broward County, FL. Casual and fun with a trip to the exotic is the best way I can describe this joint. Nothing beats sitting around with some friends having drinks, sharing food, and talking. The fact that I really didn’t see any of my quests fiddling with the phones except to take pictures was a thing of beauty. Everyone was conversing and just enjoying themselves. On that note…big shout out to my diners…THANK YOU!

Hurricane Matthew made me change the date and I lost some diners because they were out of town (kinda sucked, but the majority showed up)…I really appreciate that! It’s becoming clear to me that besides my regular blog followers like Brian, Emily, Ron, Carolann, Tracy, and some of their co-workers, the owners of some pretty damn good restaurants in Broward County like what I’m doing. Respect from legends of the Biz like Jack and Valerie O’Connel, former owners of Runyons, Dave Levy and his sister Kulani, owners of the Mai-Kai, and their manager Kern, and my VIP Ming and his wife, owners of Sakura Sushi, means the world to me. Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart.

The Picture Show

Instead of boring you with my blabbering of the typed word, I will showcase my event thru the eyes of my friend and photographer Adam Baron. Adam is money and his pictures of the event speaks volumes!
Please check out his website http://adambaronphoto.com/ thanks Adam and let the show begin!

Thanks for another outstanding event! From the fish jerky to the fried Tofu, everything was made with care and precision and then served with unique presentation. The drink served in half of a watermelon wasn’t too shabby either. Most of all you and your guests made for an exceptional dining experience! Can’t wait ’til the next “dining with Dan” gathering.
